International Film Festival of India

The International Film Festival of India (IFFI), founded in 1952, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. Held annually, currently in the state of Goa, the festival aims at providing a common platform for the cinemas of the world to project the excellence of the film art; contributing to the understanding and appreciation of film cultures of different nations in the context of their social and cultural ethos; and promoting friendship and cooperation among people of the world.

Chintan Shivir 2023

A two-day Chintan Shivir organized by ESG on behalf of Government of Goa in June 2023, with deliberations on the good governance model, drawing an agenda for the state’s vision for 2047.

Hon’ble Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired the event, which saw the active participation of all the cabinet ministers of Goa government and senior officials.

 

THE WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY

 ‘THE WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY’ organized by the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) and the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Goa Dental College and Hospital in collaboration with National Tobacco Control Programme, Directorate of Health Services, Goa at Maquinez Palace, ESG.

Itanagar International Film Festival (IIFF)

Itanagar International Film Festival (IIFF) 2019, a three-day film festival organised by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), government of Arunachal Pradesh and was managed by ESG. The festival aims at promoting north-eastern and tribal films, critically acclaimed films from different corners of the world.
