Content Archival Policy (CAP):

1. Purpose
This Content Archival Policy defines how the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) manages outdated or expired content on this website, in accordance with GIGW guidelines.

2. Scope
This policy applies to all time-bound content published on the website, including but not limited to:

  • Tenders and circulars
  • Recruitment notices
  • Announcements and press releases
  • News updates

3. Archival Criteria
Content is considered eligible for archival when:

  • A tender, circular, or notice has passed its stated closing or validity date
  • A recruitment notice has passed its application deadline
  • An announcement or news item is no longer current or relevant

4. Archival Process
Upon meeting the above criteria, content is either:

  • Moved to a dedicated Archive section on the website, remaining accessible for reference purposes, or
  • Removed from public view if retention is not required, in accordance with applicable record-keeping requirements

5. Responsibility
The Website Information Manager (WIM), in coordination with the IT team, is responsible for ensuring outdated content is archived or removed in a timely manner, as per the review schedule defined in the Content Review Policy.

6. Retention
Archived content is retained for a minimum of one year from the date of archival, unless otherwise required by law or departmental policy.
