Website Monitoring Plan:
1. Purpose
This Website Monitoring Plan outlines the process followed by the Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) to ensure the continued availability, performance, and security of this website.
2. Uptime Monitoring
The website’s availability is monitored on a regular basis to ensure minimal downtime. In the event of an outage, the IT team is notified and works to restore service as quickly as possible.
3. Performance Monitoring
Website performance, including page load times and responsiveness, is periodically reviewed to ensure a satisfactory user experience across devices and browsers.
4. Broken Link Monitoring
Internal and external links on the website are periodically checked to identify and correct broken or non-functional links.
5. Security Monitoring
The website is monitored for security vulnerabilities, unauthorized access attempts, and malware. Necessary security patches and updates are applied in a timely manner.
6. Responsibility
The Website Information Manager (WIM), in coordination with the IT team, is responsible for overseeing website monitoring activities and ensuring prompt resolution of any issues identified.
7. Reporting
Any significant downtime, security incident, or performance issue is documented and reported to the concerned authority within ESG for review and corrective action.
