This Thursday, 7th July, at 6.30 pm, Sachin Chatte will host a special screening of the yet-to-be-released documentary, The Beatles and India, directed by Ajoy Bose, who will be present for the screening. He will introduce the film and the screening will be followed by a Q&A.

One of the greatest bands and cultural phenomena of all time, the Beatles visited India in 1968 and that landmark event is still spoken about. Director Ajoy Bose published a book, Across the Universe : The Beatles in India in 2018 and this documentary is a visual extension of that endeavor. It covers the intentions, outcome and influence of that famous visit by the fab four from Liverpool, to India. The film has travelled to several festivals around the world and is yet to release in India.
