A special screening of “Sangeet Maanapmaan”, a Marathi Sangeet Natak, a blend of Hindustani classical music and folk tunes, presented by Jio Studios and produced by Shri Ganesh Marketing Films, was held on Wednesday 15th January 2025 at 6.30 pm at Maquinez Palace Audi 1, Entertainment Society of Goa.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant who was present for the screening felicitated the cast members of the play.
Written by Krishnaji Prabhakar Khadilkar and Directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari, this Marathi play made its debut in the year 1912 with Balgandharva who played Bhamini and was considered a milestone in the Marathi theatre industry.
