Adventure sports, bird & animal habitats and parks are all within easy accessible distances. Goa, due to it\u2019s small geographical area, offers you the flexibility to shoot a variety of location settings within constrained time frames. Goa (Regulation of Film Shooting) Act<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Purpose:<\/b><\/div>\n
\n
i. To regulate and promote film shooting activities in the state of Goa.<\/div>\n
ii. To streamline the process of obtaining permissions for the purpose of carrying out film shooting in the State of Goa.<\/div>\n
iii. To provide film makers with a time bound mechanism for the purpose of grant of permissions for carrying out film shooting activities.<\/div>\n
iv.  To ensure protection of public order, local culture, and environment during shoots.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Permission Required:<\/b><\/div>\n
All filmmakers must obtain prior film shooting permission from the Entertainment Society of Goa(ESG).<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Single-Window Clearance:<\/b><\/div>\n
\n
ESG provides a streamlined single-window system for all necessary approvals including permissions from local authorities.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Fees:<\/b><\/div>\n
\n
I.    Shoots require payment of prescribed fees.<\/div>\n
ii.   Local registered Line Producers shall be eligible for a 50% concession on the total applicable fees, exclusive of GST.<\/div>\n
iii.  Goan registered Producers shall be eligible for a 90% concession on the total applicable fees, exclusive of GST.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Conditions for Shooting:<\/b><\/div>\n
\n
I.    Shoots must not disturb public life, deface, defile, destroy or damage heritage sites, environment, or religious sentiments.<\/div>\n
ii.   Special additional conditions may apply for shoots depending on their location for instance for shoots within forest areas, beaches, protected areas and Government properties.<\/div>\n

Penalties:<\/b><\/div>\n

Unauthorized shooting or violation of rules can lead to seizure of material used for film shooting, fines,  cancellation of permission, and\/or other legal action.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Support Services:<\/b><\/div>\n
ESG also assists filmmakers by coordinating with police, traffic, and other departments.<\/div>\n

Promotion of Goa:<\/b><\/div>\n
\n
The Act encourages filming that positively portrays Goa\u2019s image and culture.<\/div>
