This Thursday, 23rd May, 6.30 pm at the Cinephile Film Club, Sachin Chatte will host the screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s The Man Who Knew Too Much, as a tribute to Doris Day, the singer/actress who passed away recently. The details are as follows:

One of Hitchcock’s most well-known films, The Man Who Knew Too Much has two popular actors who were at the peak of their career.  James Stewart and Doris Day play a couple, Ben and Jo, whose son is kidnapped because Ben is in the know of a secret about a political assassination that has been passed on to him by an intelligence agent.  The couple then has to take matters in their hands to rescue their son. The memorable climax has Doris Day singing Que Sera Sera which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Shot in Vistavision, this film is a treat to watch on the big screen.
