This Thursday, 6th June 6.30 pm at the Cinephile Film Club, Panjim, Sachin Chatte will host the screening of the acclaimed Korean film, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring (2003) directed by Kim Ki Duk. The details are as follows –

Film: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring (Korean with English subtitles)
Directed by: Kim Ki Duk
Duration:1 hr 42 mins

One of renowned film maker Kim Ki Duk’s most well received film, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring is set in a remote and picturesque mountain lake in the wilderness in South Korea. With some stunningly beautiful visuals, the story divided in segments is about the seasons of life of a Buddhist monk and his teacher. Even though it revolves around Buddhist philosophy, the story is universal, in more ways than one. Film critic Roger Ebert included it in his list of ‘Great Movies’ and wrote “Rarely has a movie this simple moved me this deeply. I feel as if I could review it in a paragraph, or discuss it for hours.”
