Directed by: Richard Lester
Duration: 87 mins
The Beatles made a handful of films during their heyday and A Hard Day’s Night remains the best of the lot. Directed by Richard Lester (who also directed Help! and a couple of Superman films in the 80’s), this film was made in 1964 when Beatlemania was at its peak and went on to become one of the greatest musical films of all time and also inspired spy thrillers. The fab four from Liverpool play themselves along with other assorted characters (including Paul’s grandfather) and was shot in a documentary like style, occasionally mocking the Beatles themselves.
It features some of their popular songs like Can’t Buy Me Love, All My Loving, And I Love Her and the title song.
Re-live the Beatles magic all over again on the big screen with this restored and remastered print.
