Short Film Competition on Divyangjan Sashatikaran 2017

Directorate of Film Festival (DFF) in collaboration with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment along with Department of  Empowerment of  Person with Diabilities (Divyangjan) (DEPwD) is organizing Divyangjan Sashatikaran Short Film Competition 2017 and we have started inviting entries for the documentaries, Short Films and TV spots.

We are particularly interested in obtaining Documentaries, Short Films and TV Spots as per the following eligibility criteria:

  1. The film must be produced in the last one year preceding the Festival, i.e. with effect from 9 August 2016
  2. All films MUST carry English Subtitles.
  3. The last date for submission is 8th August 2017.

The competition shall carry the following awards:

  1. Short Documentaries on Accessible India Campaign, DEPwD (not more than 30 mins.)

1st prize – 5, 00,000/- (Five lakhs)

2nd prize – Rs 3, 00,000/- (Three lakhs)

  1. Short Films on following themes: (not more than 5 minutes)

1st prize only – Rs 4, 00,000/- (Four Lakhs)

  1. TV Spots on Accessible India Campaign, DEPwD (not more than 50 seconds.)

1st prize – Rs 5, 00.000/- (Five lakhs)

2nd prize – Rs 3, 00,000/- (Three lakhs)
